Additional Important Actors

The project also counts on the support of three important organisations who will play a key role in contributing to the success of SASUF 2030. The SASUF Student Network has played an active part in developing this proposal and will have a major role in the work with SASUF 2030. Students will be integrated into the steering mechanisms of the project, as well as all activities in SASUF 2030, from Research & Innovation Weeks to applying for and participating in the various grants.

SASUF 2030 has strong support from the Embassies in both countries. The embassies will play an important role in the implementation of this project. Embassy involvement in this project will serve to facilitate and encourage involvement of key stakeholders outside of academia. In practice, this means that activities in SASUF 2030 can be jointly organized and disseminated together with the embassies. Activities in the project would form a part of the official programme of each country, making them attractive to a diverse group of stakeholders.
